This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit our website, including both language versions, and when you contact us.
Website delivery and hosting
Our website and email are hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. A processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place for processing on our behalf.
When you request a page, connection data is processed, including your IP address, time, requested address and file, data volume, response status and information sent by your browser about the browser, operating system and, where provided, referring page. This enables delivery, troubleshooting and protection against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a stable, secure website.
STRATO states that complete visitor IP addresses are retained for attack detection and prevention for no more than seven days. STRATO transforms IP addresses or hostnames in access logs made available to us. Access logs are available in the customer panel for up to six weeks; error logs cover the last five days. STRATO also provides server-side access statistics from these records. We do not use additional visitor tracking scripts.
Cookies, browser storage and embedded content
Our website does not set cookies or use LocalStorage, SessionStorage, IndexedDB or service workers. Your language is determined by the page address; no personal language preference is stored. Images, game screenshots, fonts, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own website. There are no analytics, advertising or social media trackers, embedded videos, externally loaded fonts or contact forms.
Your browser may cache delivered files as part of its normal technical operation. The website does not create additional recognition identifiers. With this setup, there is no consent prompt for optional cookies or tracking.
Email and phone enquiries
If you contact us, we process your contact details, message and related information to respond. Emails also include technical message and transmission data and are processed through STRATO email hosting. An email link opens your own email application; clicking it alone does not send us a message.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR when your enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract. Other enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding. Providing details is voluntary; we need a suitable way to contact you if you wish to receive a response. We delete enquiries once resolved and no further retention is needed. Statutory retention duties, particularly for business correspondence and tax records, or the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, may require longer retention. Use is then restricted to those purposes.
Recipients and disclosures
STRATO receives data in providing website and email hosting. Other recipients may include authorities where disclosure is legally required or advisers needed for specific legal claims. Loading our website does not connect you directly to advertising platforms, social networks or Steam. The notice about a future Steam page currently contains no store link. The website itself does not initiate transfers to those providers.
Your rights
Subject to the relevant legal requirements, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
For processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will stop the processing concerned unless compelling legitimate grounds override your interests, rights and freedoms, or processing is needed for legal claims. Please use the contact details above to exercise your rights.
Under Article 77 GDPR, you may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. Our competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany: www.ldi.nrw.de.
Other information
We do not carry out profiling or make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Processing connection data is necessary to deliver the website. We will update this notice when the website or its technology changes.
